Hi!

I've built the spreadsheet with the sorted projects by the last modification date. If I get correct, we can remove the projects updated before 2016-09-13 (Swift 3 release date).

There are the projects to delete (updated before 2016-09-13):

There are the projects which were archived by the owner:

I think it would be great to remove them. What do you think?

Awesome work @vpeschenkov ! ๐Ÿ‘

Yep I would remove all of those from the repo, they are not anymore eligible to stay there

@vpeschenkov is there more to be done?

Hi! I think I've done with this issue for now. But I'm not sure about the projects that are written on Swift 3. As according to the rules they should be removed from the list. In the spreadsheet, if we consider just by date, we can find more than 100 projects. Shall we consider removing them?

I was looking for an automated method but it is tricky.
Not all the projects uses .swift file inside so it is hard to rely on that, and looking inside the project is not that safe too.

Probably, for a first round, checking the last updated date is the best setting 2 months earlier the swift 3 release, I said 2 months because some project can be setup using beta so being somehow compatible.

I got it. According to Wikipedia Swift 4 released in 2017-09-19. Let's remove all projects till 2017-07-19 without any review, and all the ones from 2017-07-20 to 2017-09-19 with manual verification. I think it will be enough.

@matteocrippa What do you think?

yep think this a good way to deal with this

Deal. I'm going to do this over the weekend.
