This repository contains my materials for my Rmarkdown/Quarto tour talk. It contains:

Current materials

  • rmarkdowntour_quarto.qmd, a Quarto version of my talk
  • rmarkdowntour_quarto.html, the Quarto-produced html file of my talk, first shown at the Yse University School of the Environment weekly Rrodeo meeting on Octore 13, 2022.
  • styles.css, a CSS file that changes some of the default formatting options for the rmarkdowntour_quarto.html presentation
  • images, a folder containing all images used in the talk
  • rmarkdownsample.html, a html notebook with the 'type-along' stuff I showed you during the hands-on part of the talk
  • rmarkdownsample.Rmd, the R markdown document that produces the rmarkdownsample.html file
  • rmarkdowntourbibliography.bib, a BibTeX file that contains a couple of example references to use in the rmarkdownsample.Rmd file

Old materials

  • rmarkdowntour.html, the Rmarkdown version of the talk, first shown at a Leroux Lab Meeting at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador in January 2021
  • rmarkdowntour.Rmd, the R markdown document that produces the rmarkdowntour.html presentation
  • rmarkdownsample.html, a html notebook with the 'type-along' stuff I showed you during the hands-on part of the lab meeting
  • style.css, a CSS file that changes some of the default formatting options for the rmarkdowntour.html presentation

I have not included the images and gifs I used in the presentation in this online repository, as I do not own the copyright for those. The links in the rmarkdowntour.Rmd file should allow you to track them down on the internet.
