To create this project I did the following:
meteor create sliderex
cd sliderex
meteor npm install
meteor add twbs:bootstrap
meteor npm install --save jquery@2.1.1 bootstrap-slider
And then edited the client/main.html and client/main.js files
To run it yourself you need to the following:
git clone https://github.com/mattsouth/sliderex
cd sliderex
meteor npm install
meteor
And then point your browser to http://localhost:3000
