Make subsection page look as section page

I am using sectionpage = none and subsectionpage = progressbar.

I would like to make the subsection page look like the section page. To be precise, subsection pages shall have a progress bar and the text in \subsection{} above the progress bar.

I guess I will have to change the defaults in \setbeamertemplate{subsection page}, see p. 23/24 in the manual. I do not know how to do that and appreciate any help.
