technology has become a black box for us users. the function and behaviour of devices and machines around us are not predictable and foreseeable due to their high grade of complexity and fragmentation. in order to gain back control of things around us we need to understand what they are. therefore everyday products are torn apart, recombined and reassembled to fulfill other tasks the devices were initially not built for.
