Illegal Water

Datapack for Minecraft 1.16.2+! Adds a special craftable heatproof water item that lets the player create water source blocks in the Nether.
  • Create water pools in the Nether!
  • Adds Heatproof Water to the game via a crafting recipe.
  • Not difficult to craft, but also not trivial so that it has a semblance of balance.
  • Find Heatproof Water in nether structures like bastions, ruined portals, and nether fortresses!

Using the Heatproof Water

Simply toss the Heatproof Water ontop of a Soul Campfire to create water in the Nether!
