This Python script scrapes one thousand TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) vocabulary words and writes them to an Excel spreadsheet file. Included data is the word, definition, and example sentence.
Resultant spreadsheet can be found here.
You will need to install the following libraries in order to run this script.
pip install bs4 requests xlwt lxml
- This script was made in order to help a very close friend in studying for a TOEFL test.
- It was my second attempt at web scraping to help solidify those practices just a bit more
