Generate Code Institute Monthly Invoice

Installation

  • Clone the project repository.

  • Run git clone https://github.com/seunkoko/Generate-CI-Invoice.git.

  • Change directory into the Generate-CI-Invoice directory.

  • Create a virtual environment for the python app. You can refer to this link.

  • Activate your vitual environment.

  • Install all necessary packages in the requirements.txt file. You can use the command pip3 install -r requirements.txt.

  • Set up your environment variable. Checkout .env.sample in the root folder to do this.

  • To start your app locally, run the command flask run.

  • Use Postman or any API testing tool of your choice to access the http://127.0.0.1:5000/invoice to generate your invoice.
