Here we have a series of examples how to teach ecology using data from Euterpe edulis (Aracaceae), a dominant keystone palm from the Atlantic tropical and subtropical forests of South America. We use some of these examples and datasets for the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ecologia e Biodiversidade.
