This repository is to store measurements you make for lab 8
IMPORTANT This data repository has public access. Anything you put in it can be seen by anyone, anywhere! Don't put anything personal or private in here!
The images here correspond to last year's assignment, so the repository names shown reflect those. Look for NYU-IEP-2022-3-Classroom/lab4-data-repository-your github username NOT NYUExperimentalPhysics1-2021/lab2-data-repository-your github username
Log into github desktop on the lab computer
After you log in, click on the tab that says "git" and click "save." This will make git use your email address when recording the commits. You can enter a different email address before you hit save if you don't want your email included in the repository history.
Accept the assignment link from: https://classroom.github.com/a/v3gkMFH3
Clone the repository you created by accepting the assignment. The repository name will be NYU-IEP-2022-3-Classroom/lab4-data-repository-your github username Make sure you include your username (don't clone the template repository; you won't be able to push changes later)
Then open the repository in explorer
Copy your data into the repository
Then go back to github desktop. You should see lots of changed files. Type in a commit message and hit the "commit to main" button
Push the changes to github
Finally, look on github.com to make sure your files are all there
