This is a web application that allows users to play the game of Asteroids. The application requires users to register or log in using their username and password. Once logged in, the game begins, and the objective is to earn as many points as possible by destroying asteroids. Users can climb the leaderboard by earning points and competing with other players to make it to the top.
To install the Asteroids Game Web App, clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/mgiorgi13/Asteroids.git
- Launch MySQL server and Apache web server
- Import the database with the script located in folder 'other'
- Move Asteroid folder in the htdocs and access the page througth localhost:80
To use the Asteroids Game Web App, open on a browser the file index.php. You will be prompted to register or log in using your username and password. Once logged in, the game will start, and you can use your keyboard to control the spaceship and shoot at asteroids. The game will end when the spaceship is destroyed or the player chooses to quit.
