Script to automate configure windows 10.

PowerShell

WINDOWS 10 CONFIG AUTOMATE

Download script from github. Open command prompt and type:

using Command Prompt

curl -L -o %userprofile%\Desktop\windows-10-config.zip https://github.com/mhafiz87/windows-10-config/archive/master.zip

using Powershell

Invoke-WebRequest -Uri https://github.com/mhafiz87/windows-10-config/archive/master.zip -OutFile ~\Desktop\master.zip

Go to the folder where the script is located.
Enable powershell to run script. Run powershell_enable_script.bat.
Run powershell:

.\windows-10-config.ps1

Installing using powershell

Invoke-WebRequest -UseBasicParsing -Uri "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pyenv-win/pyenv-win/master/pyenv-win/install-pyenv-win.ps1" -OutFile "./install-pyenv-win.ps1"; &"./install-pyenv-win.ps1"

If you are getting any UnauthorizedAccess error as below then start Windows PowerShell with the "Run as administrator" option and run:

Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope LocalMachine

To find which python version to install, replace 3.8 with version that you need.

pyenv install -l | findstr 3.8

Virtual Environment

Virtual Environment
- Add WORKON_HOME in windows environment variables.
- Using CMD:

python -m pip install virtualenvwrapper-win
mkvirtualenv -p python37 *venv_name*
