This fork just puts it on github because upstream isnt here.
Binary packages for various distributions can be automatically installed by setting up respositories using instructions from here: https://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=home%3Aobs_mhogomchungu&package=ecryptfs-simple
Packages can be installed manually by downloading them from here: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/obs_mhogomchungu/
ps: Click the icon for your distribution to get instructions on how to install the package.
If you search for the package in synaptic and amd64 version does not show up on the list, install it by following instructions from this link[1]. Once you are at the amd64 section,scroll down on the list of packages until you see it. Make sure to also install "ecryptfs-utils".
