DIY Product Hunt is a website for creators to share their DIY creations. It's a place for DIY enthusiasts to share and geek out about their latest creations and foster a client base. As well as a place for collectors to find cool products that may not be available on the traditional marketplace.
DIY Product Hunt is built using the following stack & libraries:
- Sequelize
- Sequelize is a promise-based Node.js ORM for Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite and Microsoft SQL Server. It features solid transaction support, relations, eager and lazy loading, read replication and more.
- PostgreSQL
- PostgreSQL is a relational database management system emphasizing extensibility and SQL compliance.
- AJAX
- web applications can send and retrieve data from a server asynchronously without interfering with the display and behaviour of the existing page.
- Javascript
- Pug
- Pug is a template engine for Node.js. A template engine that allows Javascript to inject data and then produce HTML.
- Heroku
- Heroku is a platform as a service that enables developers to build, run, and operate applications entirely in the cloud.
