Map-based photo viewer application, which uses Flickr API to display current most interesting photos. Based on Stanford iOS class assignment, this project grew beyond this bounds and turned into a visual-oriented application.
- Consumed Flickr API using AFNetworking
- Persistence using Core Data, some data is available offline
- Custom UIMapView annotations to mimic Flickr color scheme
- Added custom UIScrollView behaviour to aid users with a few standard zoom settings
- Implemented memory optimizations for image downloading and storage
