This is a jQuery plugin for selecting and editing text in table cells. There are many similar plugins available with far more features than this one, but that was the point of creating this plugin. I needed something simpler to work with.

This is still a work in progress. I would NOT use this plugin just yet.

Usage ↑

  • Include JavaScript file in your html page.

  • Call cellEditor for one or more table elements where the cells should be editable.

    $('table#data').cellEditor();
