Personal vim setup. Uses pathogen and git submodules to get and update plugins, someday I will switch to using vundle.
- YouCompletMe requires Vim 7.3.584 with python2 support and requires some compilation tools/dev tools. See the github for info.
- Tern for Vim requires node.js and npm installed
- Powerline requires Python 3.3 or Python 2.7 to work
- cd ~/.vim
- sh getPlugins.sh
- ln -s .vimrc ~/.vimrc
- cd ~/.vim
- sh updatePlugins.sh
- git submodule add [link_to_awesomeplugin.git] bundle/awesomeplugin
There's probably a better way of doing this!
- Remove references from .gitmodule
- Remove references from .git/config
- git rm -r --cached
