Our idea is simple and builds on the incredible platform GoFundMe has already built. We wanted to create a space that let's people browse all of the current wildfire funds on the West Coast to learn more about about individuals and communities in need. You can can see detailed information about each fund and when you're ready can go directly to that funds GoFundMe page to donate. What makes our site a bit different is that we wanted to ensure funds that are the furthest from reaching their goal make it to the top of the page. That's why when you will always those who still need the most relief at the top of the page.

ai-mikey is a look back at my younger self. I munged data that I had saved for years from when I was a teenager to young adult from AOL Instant Messenger chat logs, LiveJournal posts, and comment/messages I sent on Facebook. I then trained a model using the GPT-2 algorithm and created this front end site designed as a AIM client on Windows XP so you could interact with the hosted model. This project was very insightful and actually healing for me to look back at my miserable teenaged past self and to really reflect and be proud of the person I've grown into today. Please revel in the cringe!
capTouch-Fader-Joystick-Midi-Device
A MIDI controller built to control a highly customized Max MSP patch designed for controlling levels of various loops and effects and changing parameters of said effects. Features five rotary encoders with click, four slide potentiometers, three 10k potentiometers, a x-y axis joystick, nine capacitive touch buttons, and a 16x16 matrix screen.

Sonic Blooming is a guided meditation on the sound of movement, growth, and transformation in our environments both external and internal. At the time of year when the roses at the International Rose Test Garden are beginning to bloom, plants are generating more electricity than usual. For this project I was commissioned by my friend and fellow whateverSpace co-founder Crystal Cortez to create and design a website that visiters of the Portland International Test Garden can use to vibe with compositions created from various plants electrical impulse data read by sensors in a process called "Biodata Sonification" with fellow developer Jena Boehm. Crystal translated these impulses into musical pitches and sound that make up half of the composition you hear. The other half of the compositions are made up of field recordings collected in the space and added to the page throughout the month by patrons of the soundwalk via the Google Drive API. There's also a cool audio visualizer on the page created with P5js and the Web Audio API.
