1. Financial Data

Revenue

A Python script(PyBank/main.py) that analyzes the financial records(budget) of a selected company to calculate each of the following:

  • The total number of months included in the dataset
  • The net total amount of "Profit/Losses" over the entire period
  • The average of the changes in "Profit/Losses" over the entire period
  • The greatest increase in profits (date and amount) over the entire period
  • The greatest decrease in losses (date and amount) over the entire period

'PyBank/main.py' prints the analysis to the terminal and export a text file with the results.

2. Election Data

Vote-Counting

A Python script(PyPoll/main.py) that analyzes a set of poll data(votes) and calculates each of the following:

  • A complete list of candidates who received votes
  • The percentage of votes each candidate won
  • The total number of votes each candidate won
  • The winner of the election based on popular vote.

'PyPoll/main.py' prints the analysis to the terminal and export a text file with the results.
