Potion (aka f33dme-ng) is a flask+sqlalchemy based feed/item reader.
- 2.5 <= python < 3
- python-sqlalchemy

- install dependencies:
easy_install sqlalchemy feedparser flask flask-wtf
- install optional dependencies:
easy_install opml SocksiPy-branch
- clone source:
git clone git@github.com:asciimoo/potion.git && cd potion
- copy potionrc_sample to ./.potionrc or ~/.potionrc or /etc/potion.cfg:
cp potionrc_sample ~/.potionrc
- edit your config (set your secret_key!)
- run
python potion/models.py init
to initialize your db - run
python potion/webapp.py
to start the application
- run
python potion/sources/feed.py
to fetch new feed items - run
python potion/models.py
to get a python shell with db models - run
python potion/models.py load <feeds
wherefeeds
contains a 'name\turl\n' formated list of feeds (import from f33dme/export.py)
