cluster.roles : Edit this file to assign the roles for the nodes in the cluster. Here is an exaple: 10.10.100.223:hdfs-namenode:hdfs-datanode:yarn-resourcemanager:yarn-nodemanager:mapreduce:mapreduce-historyserver:yarn-proxyserver 10.10.100.224:hdfs-datanode:yarn-nodemanager:mapreduce Edit the IP addresses and the roles as per the requirement. cluster.properties: This file serves as template for all the cluster configuration files. Based on this file all the config files under /etc/hadoop/conf/ are created. Modify the JAVA_HOME in this script as per the loaction on the servers. cluster_script.sh - This script installs and configures the CDH cluster. Execute as root user. Pre-reqs for this script: password-less ssh is established for the user root, Java is installed at the specified JAVA_HOME location. To install and set-up the CDH cluster: ./cluster_script.sh
