This is single-page application using VK API and it shows you online friends of the user whose ID/domain you enter.

Installation

  1. Clone this repo in your machine;
  2. Open project forlder in console;
  3. Install packages with pip using $ pip install -r requirements.txt;
  4. You can use it from terminal by python friends_online.py id/domain (id/domain is optional here)
  5. ...or in your browser - python app.py and go to http://localhost:5000/

Goals

It is my HomeWork thence I pursued some goals:

  • Acquaintance with Flask and Heroku (not very successful and extremely painful)
  • Front-end skills training (AJAX-version in progress)
  • Brag to friends (absolutely completed)
