Baltazar is a digital menu and ordering system designed to streamline the dining experience for both customers and restaurant staff. With Baltazar, customers can easily browse the menu, place orders, and enjoy a seamless dining experience. (This project is at the start of its journey, so be patient)
Baltazar simplifies the process of managing orders and menus for restaurants. To get started with Baltazar, follow these steps:
1- Clone the Baltazar repository to your local machine.
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/baltazar.git
2- Install the necessary dependencies.
cd baltazar
dotnet restore
3- Configure the app settings in appsettings.json to connect to your database and set other application-specific options.
4- Apply the database migrations to create the required database schema.
dotnet ef database update
5- Run the application.
dotnet run
###Prerequisites
Before running the app, ensure you have the following prerequisites:
- .NET 6 SDK
- Entity Framework Core CLI SQL Server or another compatible database
To install Baltazar, follow the steps outlined in the "Getting Started" section above.
With Baltazar, you can:
Browse the digital menu. Place orders and customize items. View your order summary. Complete your order and send it to the kitchen.
