To build the app
docker-compose build
In some linux distributions you have to run
sudo chown -R $USER:$USER .
so you can have permission to edit the files.
To create the data base
docker-compose run web rails db:drop
docker-compose run web rails db:create
docker-compose run web rails db:migrate
docker-compose run web rails db:seed
To start the server
docker-compose up
Then open your web browser and enter to this URL
http://localhost:3000/
If you want to stop the server
docker-compose down
If you got errors with all docker-compose command, you probably should run commands with sudo
at the beginning, like
sudo docker-compose command
Sometimes your distro don't initialize docker so you have to run
sudo systemctl start docker
To use rubocop
docker-compose run web rubocop -x
