The 3d Preview extension aims to simplify the 3D workflow within Visual Studio Code. It provides a viewer for 3D models, eliminating the need to open other software like Blender for previewing purposes.
You can install the 3d Preview extension directly from the VSCode Marketplace.
- View 3D models with GLB, GLTF(all data needs to be in one file) and FBX formats
- Play Animations
- Plans to add support for additional formats like OBJ, STL, etc.
- Add shadows and center the model
