As part of #525 I didn't want to spam the roadmap with that discussion but here's some more info about what I think how growing an OS community can be helped with. I basically refined it to like ten keypoints:

Note that my presentations are usually not in a handout style and might leave out open questions, if you google the talk you should be able to find a video of one or another version of it.

but perhaps we can steal a better approach from the coala project.

if you figure out an even better way of doing all this stuff, we'd be happy about "upstream contributions" :) Right now we're at automating more and more of the process and thus giving the newcomers more power to learn by themselves to scale better, currently developing https://github.com/coala/corobo/ which is like a rewrite of our old still-in-use https://gitlab.com/coala/cobot/
