Load subtitles easily while playing videos in MPlayer (from Ranger file manager)
How to use:
- Copy the bash script file to /bin.
- Grant execute permission by sudo chmod +x /bin/mplayer_smart
- Open the ranger configuration file at ~/.config/ranger/rifle.conf
- Find and replace mplayer by mplayer_smart
Now you can automatically load subtitles for your videos by selecting the subtitle along with the video while launching from Ranger file manager.
