Please list:
- the contents of $OZEMACS, $OZHOME
- what is the exact command you are using to start Mozart 1.4
- did you install TCL?
Lastly, I'm closing this issue as this pertains to Mozart 1.4, please re-submit it with the answers to the above questions to http://www.github.com/mozart/mozart
Thank you.
sir im new to programming, regarding ur first question do u mean the variable value???
m using the mozart programming interface, which in tuen run in GNU emacs, thirdly i've installed ACTIVE TCL 8.5.14...plz clarify me ur first question???
Please try again using mozart2 - we want to build a centre of gravity around mozart2, thus its best to learn as much as we can about the problems we are facing.
Hence we are depricating Mozart 1.4.
Follow the install instructions for mozart2.
Btw what I mean by variable is: environmental variables.
Please open a shell (cmd in windows) and type 'echo $OZHOME' (without the quotes) and press enter. Do the same for 'echo $OZEMACS'
Please copy paste the contents in the response.
If it is blank/empty you need to set the environmental variable to point to oz's root folder (ie the one that contains 'bin' and 'share')
I'll assist you with any problems you face with mozart2.
sir, now I've installed the binary files of Mozart 2 and m using the XEmacs
gnu, but when i try to run Mozart it says it couldn't execute XEmacs.i

this error. can u give me step by step method to install and run Mozart
with gnu Emacs or XEmacs. kindly help i have a course to finish.
