Started with a vision to connect home makers and other small businesses to people who want to have home made products, “HandMade” intends to play a critical role by providing a platform to these home makers, that include women who are housewives and people who have small businesses, to sell their products.
We will give them an opportunity to showcase their skills and supplement the family income with the talent they possess. HandMade is fuelled with the ideals of being ‘Vocal for Local’, and are driven by the idea of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”, that is self-sufficient modern India as a central theme.
Our major goal is to promote the culture of home buisnesses in India. We all have seen certain people around us who have a particular skill set and are good at maybe making a particular dish, in handicraft or in any other artform be but these people don't get a platform to showcase their talent and earn money from it. We want to promote the thinking that even if you like a restaurant you can serve people food, even if you lack a showroom you can sell handicraft goods and clothes. Not having resources should not be a hindrance in having your own business.
