doggos
A social photo app just for dog photos (because that’s why you’re really on Instagram). Built frontend with JavaScript, React and custom CSS. Built backend with Node.js, Express, Postgres and SQL. Created database table associations using raw SQL queries. This is my first app with Node.js for the backend & was built as an example for my students.
earthquakes-mapper
"Earthquakes Mapper" was created using React with no backend persistence. Users can view earthquakes from around the world on a Google Map and filter based on specific times and earthquake magnitude. Earthquake data from USGS.

"Let's Have Fun Together" is using Ruby on Rails for the front and back ends with @mypwhas9letters. Users can save events that they want to attend and see which events their friends are attending. Users can also view events based on date, category or location. FOR DEMO, username and password are 'demo':

"My Lineup" has a Ruby on Rails backend with React/Redux frontend. Users can save their favorite shows and add episodes to their lineup. They can view their lineup in a calendar format to see when and where their tv shows air. Users can also see trending and most watched shows as well as shows premiering that week.
