Octopus

Welcome to Octopus - a Squid access log dynamic report generator.

The Octopus project is divided in two modules, Frontend and Colletor.

Modules

Frontend Module

Generates reports using the database populated by the colletor module.

Collector Module

Parse the Squid access.log file and save to database.

Installing

  • Copy the python script to your prefered directory;
  • Set your database access configuration by editing the script;
  • Set crontab.
