About LCL-Power-API

This is a REST API for obtaining the updated data and parameters affecting electricity load and prices in the EU. The database are updated, filtered, and validated daily and includes historical data from 2013 covering 30 EU/EAA countries and 44 bidding zones.

API Framework and Authentication method

This API is a RESTFUL API developed by Flask and Python. The API uses HTTP Basic Authentication for securing endpoints. The username and password should be provided in the request headers.

A JSON array containing the requested data.

Error Response Body

In case of errors, a JSON object with an error message will be returned.
