Upcycling Interactive Humidifier

HOWTO

1. Get a initial design from my 2nd daughter to improve current upcycling-interactive-humidifier

2. Design squirrel shape in fusion360.

3. Export squirrel shape to STL file and load it in CURA.

  • Add Thingiverse link soon

4. Print squirrel shape(i.e. 2 pieces) via 3D printer.

5. Attach DHT11 sensor and RGB LED strip inside of squirrel shape.

6. Upload squirrel-led-thermometer-hygrometer.ino to Arduino Nano.

7. Wire circuit connection and test LED strip and DHT11 sensor.

8. Wrap front side with paper for better ambient light effect.

9. Draw squirrel chracter by my 2nd daughter.

10. Design&Print tree half shape to hide circuit and wires

11. Wrap tree half shape with paper and draw simple tree shape by my 1st daughter.

12. Attach all of shapes to wall and connect with existing relay to control legacy humidifier.
