Self-directed project. Basic outline: take NYC Department of Health restaurant inspection data, pair those restaurants with their yelp entires, scrape corresponding yelp reviews, and use NLP and ML to predict inspection violations (likihood, types) from review text. I wanted to get some experience interfacing with the web and applying NLP techniques to a messy problem.
