Do we want to start enforcing PEP-8 or something similar in order to avoid whitespace issues like we had in #178? If not, I think #173 has resolved this and we can close.

There are github Things that pep8-ify codes automatically but I have no experience with them...

Something like this could work to add PEP8 checks to Travis. If there's interest in enforcing this I can take a crack at getting the rest of the repo in line, it should be pretty straightforward.
