Working for python 3.6.3 for Windows64

Instal Virtual Environment:

  • pip install virtualenv

Create Empty Virtual Environment:

  • virtualenv --no-site-packages my_lab_env (Alternative: python -m venv my_lab_env)

Activate Virtual Environoment:

  • source my_lab_env/bin/activate (Windows: .\my_lab_env\Scripts\activate)

Add Virtual Environment to Jupyter Notebook:

  • pip install ipykernel
  • pip install jupyter
  • ipython kernel install --name=my_lab_env
  • pip install -r requirements.txt
  • jupyter notebook
  • Select Lab[1-3].ipynb file, go to the toolbar option: Kernel, then Change Kernel and select my_lab_env
