The Watch Party Project is an application that allows synchronized media streaming along with friends. The project is currently supports Netflix streaming, but other streaming platforms were planned for support as well.
This repo is the actual website to signup/login and add/invite friends to start a viewing session. The other 'final-project' repos are the backend of the project and the google chrome extension.
Current Features
- Secure User authentication and authorization with JWT tokens.
- A complete friend relationship system.
- Supports synchronized media controller (play/pause, ready up) in the same session for Netflix.
