Hunters NavAid

Hunters NavAid is a web application that helps users convert location coordinates to Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) and vice versa. It also allows users to visualize locations on a map.

Features

  • Location to MGRS Conversion: Enter a location name to get its corresponding MGRS coordinates.
  • Coordinate Conversion: Convert latitude and longitude values to MGRS coordinates.
  • MGRS to Coordinates: Convert MGRS coordinates to latitude and longitude values.
  • Map Visualization: Visualize locations on a map based on input coordinates or converted locations.

Usage

  1. Location to MGRS Conversion:

    • Enter a location name in the "Enter location..." input field.
    • Click the "Convert" button to get the MGRS coordinates.
  2. Coordinate Conversion:

    • Enter latitude and longitude values in the respective input fields.
    • Click the "Convert" button to get the MGRS coordinates.
  3. MGRS to Coordinates:

    • Enter MGRS coordinates in the input field.
    • Click the "Convert" button to get latitude and longitude values.
  4. Map Visualization:

    • Converted locations or coordinates will be displayed on the map.

Setup

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/nielzon-t/hunters-navaid-tools.git
  2. Open index.html in a web browser to start using the application.
