Notflix - not Netflix Movie Information App - is a demo product web application that provides a satisfying movie browsing experience. It accesses The Movie Database (TMDb) through their API to download information about the most popular movies. This information includes the movie titles, posters, average ratings, and short plot descriptions. Notflix displays this information in an organized way, with descriptions smoothly sliding over posters as the user hovers their mouse cursor over them. Additionally, Notflix has a search function that allows users to look up information about the titles they are interested in.

Or you can follow these instructions to run it locally on your computer:

  1. Download index.html, style.css and script.js files.
  2. Put all 3 of them in the same folder (I know it's good practice to use subfolders - I kept it this way for ease of use, which is also why I linked photos online as opposed to local pics.)
  3. Click index.html, it should open in your browser, if it doesn't (maybe because your default .html program is a text/code editor) then drag the index.html file and drop it in your browser window.
