FragmentExample_start - Starter Code

Note: Rename project folder to "FragmentExample" before opening in Android Studio.

Use as starter code for the FragmentExample app. It provides an image, and the title and text of a magazine article.

Introduction

This app, based on the Empty Activity template, provides a starter layout with an image, and the title and text of a magazine article. The UI elements are arranged to provide a space at the top for adding a fragment.

Pre-requisites

You need to know how to:

  • Open, build, and run apps with Android Studio.
  • Use the layout editor to create a UI with a ConstraintLayout.

Getting Started

  1. Download the code.
  2. Open the code in Android Studio.
  3. Run the app.
