LocaleText3_start - Starter Code

Version of LocaleText2 with localized language resources, extra UI elements, strings translated into French and Hebrew, and RTL layout adjustments.

Introduction

This app is a version of LocaleText2 with localized language resources, extra UI elements, strings translated into French and Hebrew, and RTL layout adjustments. Its purpose is to provide the starter code for converting a date, number, and currency format for the user's chosen locale.

Pre-requisites

You need to know:

  • How to open, build, and run apps with Android Studio.
  • How to switch languages on an Android device or emulator.
  • How to extract string resources and use string resources in the code.
  • How to edit layouts in XML.

Getting Started

  1. Download the code.
  2. Open the code in Android Studio.
  3. Run the app.
