TextCounter is a simple browser extension that displays a popup showing the character count of the selected text on any webpage.

- Clone the repository: git clone git@github.com:nisshi-dev/text-counter.git
- Navigate to chrome://extensions/ in your browser.
- Enable "Developer Mode" if it's not already enabled.
- Click "Load Unpacked" and select the directory where you cloned the TextCounter repository.
- Select text on any webpage.
- A popup will appear near the selected text area, showing the number of characters in the selected text.
