Add new remote repository:

git remote add <name> <url>

Change current repository:

git remote set-url <name> <url>
  • Use --add option to add a new remote repository
  • Use --push option to add a new remote repository for pushing

Remove an existed repository:

git remote rm <name>

Verify current status:

git remote -v

Renaming a remote repository:

 git remote rename <old-name> <new-name>
