A simple SQL client for use with Ringojs

Primary LanguageJavaScript

sql-ringojs-client

This package provides a simple SQL database client implementation for which runs on RIngojs, by wrapping JDBC and the java.sql class library with convient access functions.

It is loosely based on the Helma Database module.

Usage

To connect:

var d = require('ngv/sql');
var conn = d.connect('org.h2.Driver', 'jdbc:h2:/data/h2/mydb', 'myname', 's3cret');

To do a query:

query(conn, 'select * from users').map(function(x) { return x['ID'] + "-" + x['FIRST_NAME']} );

(If you have a table called users with columns called ID and FIRST_NAME that you wanted to print out).
