Dictionary App

This application is a dictionary app that uses the DictionaryAPI to display the meanings and uses of words. It is developed using React.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

Requirements

You must meet the following requirements to use this project:

  • Node.js 16 or higher
  • NPM or Yarn

Installation

  1. Clone the project to your computer or download it as a ZIP file.

  2. Go to the project folder and run the following command:

    npm install

    or

    yarn

Usage

  1. In the project folder, run the following command:

    npm dev

    or

    yarn dev

  2. Go to http://localhost:5173 in your browser.

  3. Search for a word.

  4. Click play button to listen the pronunciation of the word.

  5. See the nouns and verbs of the word.
