PlanMyTrip app was created to recommend ideal hotels based on clients' weather preferences. The project tasks are:
- Using API skills to retrieve the current weather description for each city.
a) Collect data from JSON parsed data from the API request and analyze weather data across cities worldwide using NumPy, Pandas.
b) Exploratory Analysis with the correlation and Scatter plots of the weather data.
c) Create a series of heatmaps using the Google Maps and Places API. - Identifying potential travel destinations and nearby hotel by making input statements to filter the data for their weather preferences.
- Creating a travel itinerary from the list of potential travel destinations. After, creating a travel route between the four cities as well as a marker layer map by using the Google Maps Directions API.
The analysis was created using software resources: Python 3.8.8, Jupyter-notebook : 6.3.0, OpenWeather Platform, Google Maps Platform.
