Use formatting codes in anvils and books
Once the data pack is installed, type /reload
in-game to load all data pack assets.
The data pack can be disabled in-game using the command /function stf:uninstall
, whereafter the contents can be removed from the data packs folder.
Formatting codes (see below) can be applied to item name text when renamed in anvils. Text formatting is updated when the item is placed in the player's inventory.
Formatting codes (see below) can be applied to book text when entered in writable books. Text formatting is updated when the book is signed by the player.
Text can be formatted using the ampersand sign (&
) followed by any of the following codes:
