time stamp and frame index do not correspond to each other in observation already made and new one that occur simultaneously

Hi! When clicking on coded event in the observation log, the media position and frame index displayed do not match the time and frame index of coded event. so that when inputting new behaviour that occurs simultaneously with event that was already coded, the time and frame index are different even tough it should be exactly the same. is it possible to change in settings, so that it matches automatically?
What version are you using?
Can you give me more details and a procedure to reproduce this issue?
Maybe some screenshots?
Hi, has this issue been resolved? I am having the same problem. For example, when I double-click on event 4, it brings me to frame 167 in the video, while the frame index of this event is 159. Additionally, when I attempt to jump to 5.305 seconds, it brings me to 5.572 seconds in the video instead. I have attached a screenshot of this. I am using version 8.27.7.
I think I have found a solution to this problem. I re-encoded/resized the video in BORIS: Tools > Media file > Re-encode/resize video. This converted my .MTS video file to .AVI. After starting a new observation with the converted video, double-clicking an event correctly brings me to the correct position in the video. It is also working to jump to a specific time via Playback > Jump to specific time.
Hi,
MTS video files can indeed have seeking problems due to their format.
