Auto renaming a subtitle file name to match the video file's name.

Matching videos and subtitles file names

Useful when you have a TV series folder with, like, 50 episodes. You don't want to waste your time renaming each subtitle with its corresponding episode one-by-one.

Installation

$ sudo pip install subtitlematcher

Usage

  • Go to your directory, where you have your movies and subtitles waiting

  • Run the following command in your terminal::

    $ subtitlematcher
    

or

  • Open your terminal

  • Run the command and specify the path to your desired directory:

    $ subtitlematcher /path/to/directory

  • *0.0.2*: Fixed a bug happens when there are less subtitle files than videos
