This list contains all conferences, meetups, hackathons and other events that have anything to do with VoIP, be it technology, business or otherwise.

Events containing a ⭐ are events where the Open VoIP Alliance were present/will be attending.

Events in 2019

  • OpenSIPS Summit (30th April - 3rd May, Amsterdam) - Conference surrounding OpenSIPS and the open source ecosystem.
  • JanusCon (23 - 25 September, Napoli) ⭐ - Conference about the general purpose WebRTC server Janus and VoIP/RTC in general.
  • ClueCon (5 - 9 August, Chicago) - Conference for developers by developers by the people behind FreeSWITCH.
  • AstriCon (29 - 30 October, Atlanta) - The annual Asterisk, and FreePBX user conference.
  • TIP Summit (13 - 14 November, Amsterdam) - Community event about connectivity technology.

Events in 2020

  • FOSDEM (1 -2 Feabruary, Brussels) ⭐ - Yearly gathering of open source developers, has a RTC devroom.
  • ITExpo (12 - 14 February, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida) - Big expo about business, tech and new communication innovations.
  • Cloud Comms Summit (5th of March, London) - Service provider event organised by the Cavell Group about business, regulatory and other aspects of VoIP.
  • Kamailio World (27 - 29 April, Berlin) - Conference surrounding Kamailio and a wide range of other communication technologies.
  • ClueCon (3 - 6 August, Chicago) - Conference for developers by developers by the people behind FreeSWITCH.
  • Signal (20 - 21 May, San Francisco) - Conference hosted by Twilio about their own products and other general VoIP topics.
  • OpenSIPS Summit (5 - 8 May, Amsterdam) - Conference surrounding OpenSIPS and the open source VoIP ecosystem.
